Peter Maly graduated at the Fachhochschule of Detmold (Germany) in architecture of the interiors. In the 60’s he was responsible of the area of interior architecture at the “Schoenen Wohnen” magazine. Peter Maly is one of the most important European designers. In 1970 he has started his own design firm in Hamburg. His design projects have been manufactured by the most important European furniture manufacturers. He likes linear and geometric forms, which characterize his pure, functional and always updated style. He has obtained prestigious awards all over the world: in 1998 has been printed the second edition of the book "Designermonographie 5 – Peter Maly".
